Furman Sound, Inc. has expanded its line of Balanced Power products with the introduction of an audiophile unit.

The IT-REFERENCE Discrete Symmetrical AC Power Filter is the fourth product to join Furman's popular, TEC Award nominated IT-Series. The Series currently includes 120 volt models in 10, 20, and 30 amp configurations. in the words of engineer/audiophile/musician Garth Powell, "This will be the best AC filter yet produced for the audiophile/home theater enthusiast." the IT-Reference is the specially designed audiophile-home theater version of the IT-1220. The IT-Reference brings the advantages of balanced power to all analog, digital, and video components through the same high current capable,ultra-low impedance toroid transformer technology that has made Furman a leader in the industry, with the added advantage of total isolation for each set of outlets. This is critical, as modern video and digital components will back-wash performance-degrading noise into each other, even if the filtering from your AC source is exemplary.

Furthermore, Furman's Power Correction Circuitry gives Power amplifiers and Powered Sub-Woofers the ability to produce dynamics with a visceral power that will shake your foundation, lighting speed, and clarity that will produce three dimensional images startling in their focus and palpability. No expense has been spared, and no compromises accepted. All these technologies in concert create the IT-Reference's unique "Discrete Isolated Power." We believe the IT-Reference (list price $3000.00) will set a new standard in the science and art of AC filtering.
