Designed for both mobile and fixed installation use, the systems feature an innovative design in which the vertical sound dispersion characteristics of the speaker can be directed towards a specific area of the audience and remotely controlled in real time, without any need to mechanically alter the speaker's position. Two new Linea Focus models, with impressive heights of 3.50m (LFI-350) and 4.50m (LFI-450), will be on show for the first time. The top-of-the-range LFI-450 incorporates 32 high-performance speakers, 32 separate amplifiers and DSP processors. The speaker's vertical sound inclination angle (-40°/+40°) and vertical beam width (0°-90°) can be adjusted in real time using the intuitive Fohhn Audio Soft (V3) control software. This allows the speaker coverage to be adapted to virtually any performance situation and specific audience areas to be targeted. Unwanted reflections from the floor, walls or ceiling can also be minimized, leading to dramatically improved speech intelligibility. Fohhn's innovative dual-beam technology adds a further dimension, enabling the Linea Focus speakers to generate two separate beams in their vertical dispersion range. This allows two different audience areas (such as stalls and gallery) to be simultaneously targeted for maximum effective coverage. A specially developed algorithm also enables the suppression of any unwanted side lobes in the beam. The Linea Focus series is primarily aimed at churches, cathedrals, railway stations, airports, theatres, conference halls, trade fair centres and fixed install or mobile AV applications. The speakers' slim design, low weight and electronic control functionality enables them either to be mounted flat on the wall, or installed directly in the wall, ensuring perfect integration into a range of architectural settings. In addition to the new Linea Focus models, Fohhn presents several other groundbreaking products including the new Linea LX-500/501 high-performance line array systems. The speakers' compact, elegant columns house the latest line array technology. Suitable for a wide range of applications, the system's true potential can be realized just as effectively in a conference sound situation as in a full-on pop or rock concert. Each LX-500/501 is equipped with four 6.5" neodymium speakers and four 1" compression drivers with Fohhn Waveguide, producing enormous sound pressure levels and uniform coverage. The new speakers will also be shown in combination with Fohhn active subwoofers, forming the latest Linea_live systems. Another "first" – Fohhn's active 21" Subwoofer Fohhn's PS-9 active sub heralds a new era in subwoofer technology.
