    By Guest |

In an introduction that unites the industry's most intuitive and powerful tools to maximize studio efficiency, Fairlight today unveiled MediaHub. The new suite of applications provides broadcast and audio post-production facilities a complete solution for media asset management studio-wide.

"Managing an ever-increasing amount of files and media assets is a core concern of today's post-production facility and MediaHub was developed specifically for this purpose," said Stuart DeMarais, Sales and Marketing Director, Fairlight. "Fairlight has long been dedicated to improving studio workflow, allowing our customers to grow their businesses with highly efficient studio tools. MediaHub represents the culmination of our most powerful utilities packaged in one easily installed suite. We are very pleased to bring this to our customers and help streamline their operations and open up faster workflows."

MediaHub collects Fairlight's studio asset management tools into one comprehensive package, allowing users to implement an effective workflow process throughout an entire studio. Among the applications included in MediaHub is Fairlight's seminal networked audio server, MediaLink. Connecting all facets of the studio environment, the MediaLink server networks multiple Fairlight workstations, recorders, editors and mixers, as well as file servers and Windows or Mac-based systems to create a fully integrated audio facility. Also included is MediaLink AV, Fairlight's newest audio and video solution for networking Pyxis NLV and QDC engines using sustained bandwidth streaming technology.

AudioBase3xtreme, Fairlight's powerful new audio library management system, enables MediaHub users to drastically increase workflow with enhanced search features and instant access to audio files. Also included is Virtual Studio Runner, Fairlight's automated file delivery to and from DREAM systems, and AVTransfer, the server-based file conversion application.
