"Mayday Monster" EJ-200SCE Outfit, the first acoustic signature model by “Monster,” lead guitarist of the hit alternative rock group Mayday from Taiwan. Featuring the world famous J-200 “jumbo” style acoustic/electric with a custom designed pickguard, Shadow® Electronics, custom hardshell case, and a Certificate of Authenticity. “Monster” (Wen Shang Yi) worked closely with Epiphone’s legendary luthiers in Nashville, Tennessee to create the very first custom EJ-200SCE in Epiphone’s history! Monster formed Mayday in Taiwan in 1997 and has since led the group to four Golden Melody Awards for Best Band.

The Ltd. Ed. "Mayday Monster" EJ-200SCE Outfit has a Solid Spruce top with a Vintage Sunburst finish, stylish cutaway and a SlimTaper™ Select Maple neck. The tortoise style pickguard has the same classic profile of vintage J-200 pickguards but with a custom “Monster” graphic.  When plugged in, the superior tone of the “Mayday Monster” EJ-200SCE comes to life thanks to the Shadow® Performer Tuner™ preamp and Shadow® NanoFlex™ pickup system. Designed Shadow® Germany, the new Performer Tuner™ preamp features all the controls you need to tailor the sound of your “Mayday Monster” EJ-220SCE to suit your playing style, volume level, and venue size.
