eMedia Music Corp. and iZotope, Inc. announced an agreement for eMedia to distribute iZotope's new iDrum Version 1.7 Virtual Drum Machine software. eMedia is excited to bring iZotope's new easy-to-use iDrum software to retail. iDrum expands eMedia's growing catalog of proprietary releases and high quality distributed products such as Finale, Band-in-a-Box, Guitar Pro and EarMaster into the Pro Audio and Recording category.

iDrum Version 1.7 is a customizable, expandable, easy-to-use virtual drum machine. It includes an enormous sound library and allows you to add your own sounds to get exactly the feel you want. iDrum can be used on its own or seamlessly with GarageBand, Logic, Abelton Live, Pro Tools, SONAR, Cubase, Digital Performer and other host programs. New for version 1.7 of iDrum is the ability to create rhythms in different time signatures 4/4, 3/4, 5/4, 6/8, 9/8 and beyond. You can even share your sounds and beats with iDrum Editions for iPhone and iPod touch. iDrum Version 1.7 will be released in October and be available at computer and music retail stores nationwide at an estimated retail price of $59.95. The CD-ROM is a hybrid for both Windows (XP/Vista) and Macintosh (OS X 10.4 or later).
