Electro-Voice has simplified the process of matching the right powered mixer with the right loudspeaker by offering its PSX Series of stereo powered mixers with matching Sx Series speakers to create the "ultimate system." These systems will be on display at AES, Booth #440. Customers can choose from one of four customized, matched systems that are ideal for use in small dance clubs, houses of worship and large concert halls. PSX mixers and Sx speakers provide quality, high-end performance for those who accept no compromise in sonic integrity. This sonic integrity stems from German engineering and manufacturing - absolute, pro-tour grade designs. The digital effects and EQ are studio-quality, the faders are Swiss-made by Alps and all the in/out connectors are Neutrik.

The PSX600 Powered Mixer with the Sx100+ Speaker:

This 2 x 340-watt console features 6 mic and 2 stereo line inputs, 3-band EQ on mono inputs, a 7-band EQ, vocal voicing filter for increased vocal clarity and switchable 80-Hz low-cut filter inputs to reduce handling and stage noise. Also featured are two separate, 32-bit algorithm digital effects processors with 100 programsæeach providing studio-quality reverbs, delays and multi-effectsæeach processor has its own 60 mm input fader. For rugged portability, the PSX 600 has a locking metal cover and recessed handles. Fully matched to the Sx100+ speaker, the combination provides 200 watts of steady power output. Designed of the same utility and technology that comprise EVs X-Array speaker systems, the combination is ideal for mixing a small club or house of worship.

The PSX1000 Powered Mixer with the Sx300 Speaker:

The Sx300 speaker and the rugged, ergonomic PSX1000 console were designed for easy transportation. Along with all the features of the PSX600, the PSX1000 offers 570 watts per channel and features 10 mic inputs and 4 stereo line inputs. Plus, the PSX 1000 features a three-band EQ with sweepable mids on mono inputs, a fixed 3-band EQ on stereo inputs and has a stereo 7-band graphic equalizer. The 12-inch, two-way Sx300 system, with RMD technology, has replaced larger, more expensive systems in houses of worship, stadiums and clubs all over the world.

The PSX1600 Powered Mixer with the Sx300 Speaker:

This is the same as the PSX1000 and Sx300 System, but appropriate for those users who demand more inputs (16 mic and 4 stereo line inputs).

The PSX2200 Powered Mixer with the Sx500+ Speaker:

With 22 microphone and 4 stereo line inputs, 2 x 760 watts of maximum power and the above- mentioned effects, this mixeræwhen coupled with the Sx500+ large-format, biampable 15-inch, two-way speaker systemæproduces a great-sounding system.
