At this year's Winter NAMM show, Lace Music announced the second in its Rat Fink line of guitars -- the Rat Fink Bass.

The RF Bass features the famous Rat Fink logo created by hot rod legend Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. It was natural to offer the same Rat Fink style on a bass as the acceptance of the line has grown since its debut at the Winter NAMM 2002 show. Not only are players and collectors using the Finks, but also those who grew up with the designs, and kids who know nothing of Rat Fink.

When you have all the members of Aerosmith requesting Rat Fink guitars, and now basses, you know you've touched a bit of emotion and fun, not to mention producing a very unique, collectible and great-sounding guitar, stated Don Lace, President.

Ed Roth, who is famous for his car culture creations, including Rat Fink, has a growing appreciation for his art work and the highly prized Southern California life style. Other companies, including Mattel's Hot Wheel brand, and Fossil watches have also recently introduced Ed Roth creations, further exposing his unique style of art and culture.

The RF Bass features Powered by Lace P series pickups and Rat Fink artwork. Other features include: 34" scale length, bolt on neck, one volume & 2 tone controls, rosewood fingerboard, and chrome hardware. Standard color is gloss black body and neck. Suggested retail price is $399.00.
