Elation’s Zeus Media Server Provides Smart Video Solution for Live Productions, Concerts, Theaters, TV, Clubs and Churches

The video revolution is on . . . and Elation Professional is making it simpler and more affordable than ever to produce high-quality visual content on LED video walls, projection screens and broadcast displays. The company has unveiled the Zeus Media Server, a full-scale media server with two full HD outputs and a powerful Arkaos Media Master Pro engine that lets you easily program and play smooth visuals from any DMX lighting desk, MIDI controller or as a stand-alone unit.
Ideal for live concerts and productions, theater, clubs and houses of worship, Zeus is designed for quick and easy setup, and is especially well-suited for applications that call for precise, real-time visual displays. It features Arkaos MediaMaster Pro 3.0 software, including Arkaos’ patented Kling-Net protocol, which automatically configures and distributes real-time video data to remote display devices by pixel. With Kling-Net, it’s possible to achieve a perfect time synchronization of many types of display devices, ensuring that your visuals will synchronize across many product types.
What’s more, by using Kling-Net protocol, the Zeus Media Server does away with the expensive hardware converters previously required to send video data, making it an extremely economical solution as well. “The Zeus is Elation’s first full-scale media server,” said Eric Loader, Director of Sales for Elation Professional. “We developed this powerful server in response to our customers’ demand for an easier and more affordable solution to creating and displaying video content, especially in live production environments where you are mixing many types of displays including traditional DMX Pixel control fixtures. Built with rugged, reliable state-of-the-art industrial European hardware and software components -- which provide industry leading performance, stability and durability -- Zeus is equipped with all the tools needed to create, manipulate and display high-quality video content. It features 12 continuous playback layers with DMX fixture control per layer, and it offers an array of digital outputs, including: 1 x interface VGA/DVI/HDMI output; 2 x full 1080 DVI outputs; 1 x Ethernet out port; 8 x USB ports; and 1 x audio output. The unit also includes 5-pin DMX input and output.
Zeus is capable of both Art-Net and Kling-Net LED video mapping, with the ability to output both protocols simultaneously. It includes video surface mapping for projectors, soft edge blending, and – as an added bonus – a 4GB built-in library of high-quality video content.
Containing 500GB of storage for video content, Zeus provides ample room to hold all your visual shows. Not to worry if any of your content gets lost either – the unit’s Acronis backup system makes recovery of your data fast and easy simply by resetting the server from the boot menu.
