Peavey introduces a new addition to the Peavey International Series II: a five-piece entry-level drum kit complete with hardware and cymbals and the new telescoping bass drum spurs, along with other features such as double-braced, chrome-finished hardware, a pair of drumsticks and a drum key.

The new telescoping bass drum spurs give the entire kit more stability and make it easier to adjust the angle of the bass drum to the player's specs. This provides a greater degree of comfort and playability than ordinary sliding bass drum spurs.

The Peavey International Series II is a step up from the original Peavey International Series, offering a new lug design and eight-lug snare drum for more precise tuning. In addition, the tom arms have been upgraded to 7/8" tubing for increased stability.

Additional features include a clamp-style seat on the drum throne, 12-lug toms, a 16-lug bass drum and a 6 1/2" deep snare drum. Color options for the Peavey International Series kit include black, metallic wine red, metallic silver, metallic dark green, deep ocean and metallic claret.

The Peavey International Drum Series II has a U.S. MSRP of $699.99 and will be available from Authorized Peavey Dealers in August 2002.
