At the Winter NAMM show, Harman Music Group (HMG) introduced the Vx400 Modeling Vocal Processor with USB Computer Interface.

The Vx400 is the first modeling effects processor to allow seamless transitions between live performance and recording applications. The Vx400 features all of the effects, modeling and on-board "Character" sounds you have come to expect from the Vocal Series of processors, with the addition of direct speaker compensated outputs to go directly into the PA, as well as a USB port which streams 24-bit audio to a computer recording system, all in a rugged metal housing.

Commenting on this new product, DigiTech President, Rob Urry stated, "When DigiTech introduced the GNX3 Guitar Workstation last year, we were the first to offer multi-track recording from the musician's perspective; hands-free, easy and powerful. The Vx400 takes this concept to a whole new level of customer, this is truly digital recording designed by musicians for musicians. "

The Vx400, available February 2003, will be offered at $374.95 MSRP exclusively at DigiTech authorized dealers.
