  • Digital Music Doctor Releases Cubase 4 Training Video

    Digital Music Doctor announces the release a free update to Cubase 4 - Know it All!, a video training course for Steinberg Cubase 4. This update covers all of the major new features in Cubase 4.1, the latest release of this popular digital audio workstation.

    This training course update encompasses a number of important new features in Cubase 4.1 including side-chain input, global transpose, MIDI loops, and MusicXML support, as well as some significant changes to the Sample Editor user interface and the Audio Warp process.

    Cubase 4 - Know It All! contains over 2 hours of videos as well as sample projects covering all aspects of audio and midi recording, editing, mixing and mastering using the Steinberg Cubase 4 digital audio workstation.

    There is a Quick Start section which covers elements that are common to both midi and audio. This section provides an introduction to Cubase projects as well editing and mixing. There is an in-depth section for digital audio which covers recording, mixing and mastering audio using Cubase 4. The Loops & Remix section demonstrates the tools used for loop compositions, Audio Warp and Play Order Track. There is also a comprehensive section on MIDI which explains setting up Cubase to work with MIDI devices as well as recording and editing. The Tools & Techniques section includes tutorials on Surround Sound Mixing and the Score Editor, as well as a module on interfacing Propellerheads Reason and VST synthesizers with Cubase 4.

    The Cubase 4.1 training course update is presented using Adobe Flash and is available for Microsoft Windows XP/Vista and Apple Macintosh OS X (Tiger/Leopard). It is available as a free digital download from the Digital Music Doctor website and it designed to operate in conjunction with an installed version of Cubase 4 - Know It All!
