D1 Live

Having already been launched in Europe, DiGiCo's new digital mixing console, the D1 Live, is now making its US debut.

The DiGiCo D1 Live has all the extensive features of the D5 Live, but in a smaller, lighter package. A brand new MADI card gives a dramatic price reduction by providing a fully digital link from stage to FOH for up to 100m of coax cable, where previously 50m was the maximum run, and so dispensing with the need for expensive optical fibre.

The console is supplied in four main feature configurations creating a direct replacement for an analog console.

D1 Live Features:

  • 25 layered fader work surface, grouped in blocks of eight user definable banks per section, with meter-bridge and 40 buss DSP engine
  • Configurable for stereo, LCR(S) and 5.1 operations
  • 64 to 160 input processing channels - configurable mono or stereo
  • 8 fully user configurable macro buttons
  • DiGiCo 4 band parametric input E/Q with hi-lo pass filters and side chain filtering
  • DiGiCo gates and compressors on every input channel
  • Six independent F/X processors
  • Up to 12 DiGiCo 28 band insertable graphic E/Q
  • Up to 28 auxiliaries - configurable mono or stereo
  • User configurable 38 x 8 matrix
  • 16 CG/VCA style control/mute groups
  • 16 IPCs (insertable processing channels) each with six bands of fully switchable parametric E/Q with compressor and delay up to 510ms (D1 48DP and D1 48DR only)
  • Three-channel talkback mixer
  • Two solo busses
  • Audio sub-groups as required - configurable mono, stereo, LCR(S), 5.1
  • 40 or 48 mic/line inputs
  • 24 line outputs
  • Eight AES/EBU I/O (D1 48DR only)
  • MADI data transmission protocol on coax BNC
  • Work surface flight-case (touring) or cardboard carton (install)
