Roland is proud to announce the new CD-2e SD/CD recorder. Smaller in size, simpler to use—the new CD-2e takes the best from the past and enhances it for the next generation. From rehearsals to recitals, lectures to live-music events, the CD-2e is the fastest way to capture the moment and render it to CD or SD memory card for storage or distribution.

A stand-alone solution, there is no need to connect the CD-2e to a computer, fuss around with cables, or worry about set-up. With high-performance stereo-speaker, stereo mic, and CD-R/RW drive built-in the CD-2e offers out-of-the-box recording capability.

Weighing in at less than 3 lbs (less than most laptops), measuring just 2 inches thick, and having the ability to run on six AA batteries, the CD-2e is an extremely portable device.

Analyzing musical performances is simple thanks to several onboard playback modes including the ability to change pitch, key, and tempo. A metronome feature is provided for improving timing and rhythm.

Great for recording and documenting meetings and events, the size and portability of the CD-2e make it a breeze to use in the office, at lectures, conventions, churches, recitals, and concerts.

The CD-2e comes equipped with a wireless remote for off-unit control of playback and recording, and an EASY GUIDE button steps first-time recording novices through operations with simple-to-follow instructions in six different languages.

The CD-2e can take up to 8GB SDHC memory cards for over 12 hours of recording time.

Additional options include the CB-CD2E semi-hard shell carrying bag and the CS-15R high-sensitive, omni-directional external stereo microphone.
