Music Inc. Magazine Recognizes Casio’s Commitment to Providing Innovative Products to the Music Dealer Channel

DOVER, NJ, August 15, 2011 — Every year at the Summer National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show, NAMM University along with Music Inc. magazine announces its favorite products and services, as well as the companies to watch in the music arena. For two days, panel of six music retail experts shop the show floor seeking quality, innovation and excitement. This year, Casio America, Inc. was awarded the highest honor for its CTK-7000 and WK-7500 digital keyboards - “Best In Show.”

Outfitted with large LCD display, nine physical sliders for mixing, 17-track sequencers, an organ drawbar mode and stereo digital audio recording the CTK-7000 and WK-7500 deliver an unprecedented level of power and music making capabilities.

“Awarding Best In Show to the CTK-7000 and WK-7500 was an easy choice. They are another homerun in a great line of innovative, quality musical products.” said Tim Pratt, President of Dietze Music and panelist for “Best In Show” at NAMM. “Not only does Casio offer a wide range of high-caliber products, it also enables music dealers, like me, to present an enhanced in-store experience with the products necessary to drive our business forward.”

Since its introduction at the 2010 Winter NAMM Show, the WK-7500 continues to make headlines in the industry. While its extensive composition tools and performance capabilities demonstrate why it is a fan-favorite, the “Best In Show” title reinforces its ability to stand out among other keyboards of its kind.

Furthermore, Casio continues to stand out with its commitment to the music dealer channel by expanding its sales team and enhancing its point-of-sale experience. Casio’s commitment to music dealers also extends to the product positioning for the channel, as countless products have been manufactured specifically with music dealers in mind, including the new releases at Summer NAMM.

“This is a tremendous honor and shows our commitment to providing innovative products to the marketplace,” said Mike Martin, general manager, marketing, Casio’s Electronic Musical Instruments Division. “We look forward to providing additional products to help music dealers drive their business.”
