Bricasti Spotlighting Must-Have Model 10 Remote Console For M7 Stereo Reverb Processor At Musikmesse2009 Frankfurt Exhibition

During the Musikmesse 2009 International Trade Fair, which opened here today and runs until April 4, Bricasti Design is highlighting the powerful, user-friendly Model 10 Remote Console for the highly-popular Model 7 Stereo Reverb Processor. The M10 puts control of up to eight M7s in front of a sound designer or mixing engineer, and also allows system settings to be stored and recalled at the touch of a button. The Model 10 and companion Model 7 stereo processor can be seen at Bricasti's German distributor, Mega Audio; Hall 5.1 Booth B67. "Musikmesse will mark the first European showing of the new Model 10 remote," says company co-founder and president Brian Zolner. "The M10 puts control where and when you want it — at the console's critical sweet spot — while making acoustically sensitive adjustments within any mixing environment. Whether controlling one or multiple Model 7 processors, the M10 lets the user build a system to their precise needs. Sharing a consistent human interface with the Model 7 was an important design goal. Consequently, the Model 10's control surface is simple, elegant and easy to use." Among the first customers for the new M10 are British Grove Studios, owned by musician/producer Mark Knopfler, Sphere Studios, London, UK, and music-scoring mixer Alan Meyerson, who currently owns six Model 7 processors that are used to prepare separate 5.1-channel surround sound music tracks for motion-picture soundtracks. The two London-based facilities were supplied by SCV London, Bricasti Design's exclusive UK dealer. "The new Model 10 makes it very easy to adjust and refine my M7 reverb settings," Meyerson advises, "while I remain within the central 'sweet spot' on my console at my personal-use music studio, Yoakam Sound. With as many as six Model 7s on-line at a time, the remote control makes a great deal of sense. I love being able to store and recall every user parameter for each of my Model 7 processors." The Model 10 controls up to eight M7 processors, and features eight front-panel meters that display levels for four stereo audio sources, providing simultaneous metering of a quartet of connected Model 7s. "The new Model 10 uses the same clear and easy-to-read displays as we provide on the M7," explains Zolner, "with the same human interface — plus the addition of MACHINE and SETUP keys — so there is no need to learn something new!
