  • beyerdynamic Introduces TG-X 930 True Condenser Microphone

    By Guest |

Using the capsule of the MC 930 true condenser microphone as a basis, beyerdynamic has developed a first-class vocal microphone with the TG-X 930. Featuring a specially compensated proximity effect in the cardioid capsule, the TG-X 930 achieves absolutely neutral transmission of even the subtlest vocal nuances while a slight treble boost ensures an open and accurate sound without ever being overbearing. The stainless steel basket with multilayer gauze and additional inner basket, already used in the interchangeable microphone capsules of the Opus 900 wireless series, provides excellent protection against pop sounds. It is not only easy to clean, but also significantly improves rear-attenuation and hence increases feedback reduction. In addition, the internal structure of the transducer system makes the microphone unusually resilient to the types moisture related problems often encountered with vocal microphones. The maximum sound pressure level of the TG-X 930 is 150 dB SPL. It's low internal noise level gives the TG-X 930 an extremely high dynamic range. The turned brass housing of the TG-X 930 comes in either in a matte black or nickel finish to suit the given stage situation. The TG-X 930 is available now.
