January 29, 2015 -- Los Angeles , California .  At the NAMM Show in Anaheim Art Vista presented "GrooveMaster - Tony Newton's Bass Grooves" in a new line of Continuous Sync™ Loop Players for the Kontakt platform. This new soundware, intended for R&B, HipHop, Soul, Pop, House, and DJ’ing, includes bass grooves performed by Antonio “Tony” Newton the legendary Motown "Baby" Funk Brother and fusion bass pioneer.  The new loop player developed by Art Vista offers continuous playback sync to host sequencer, with intuitive real-time combining of multiple loops in all keys, and real-time control for laid-back or push-ahead feel. 1,800 loops in 16 styles can be mixed and played back at any tempo in real-time while maintaining sync with other tracks in a host DAW.

Tony Newton's bass grooves can be heard on numerous gold records, and his career spanned from the early days of the electric bass - with John Lee Hooker and Little Walter, as staff bass player at Motown alongside James Jamerson, as Musical Director and bassist with Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, through his later fusion and rock work with Tony Williams Lifetime and Gary Moore's G-Force. Tony Newton also toured and recorded with Motown artists Diana Ross and the Supremes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Four Tops, Temptations, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Spinners, Mamas and Papas, Honey Cone, Little Richard, Hugh Masekela, Aretha Franklin and many others.

GrooveMaster - Tony Newton's Bass Grooves loop player comes in Kontakt 5 format, which supports all major plug-in formats on Mac and PC. It is scheduled for release spring 2015, with a projected MSRP of US$99.00.
