American DJ Introduces New LED Matrix

Yes, you can take it with you - even if "it" is an LED light show. American DJ has introduced the LED Matrix, a portable LED panel for mobile DJs that comes in its own suitcase-like carrying case.

Just open the case and - presto—you have a 32-cube LED panel that can be mounted overhead or set on a surface to project a vibrant, color-changing light show. Operable with a standard DMX-512 controller, the 2-channel LED Matrix can create virtually any hue imaginable via RGB color mixing. What's more, each of the LED Matrix's cubes can be operated independently of one another, so you can create up to 32 different colors at once.

For those who want the ease of a plug-and-play unit, the LED Matrix can be operated without a DMX controller in Sound Active Mode. It comes with 25 built-in eye-popping programs that will create an amazingly brilliant light show, even without use of a fog machine.

The LED Matrix was designed specifically to bring the excitement and benefits of LED lighting effects to DJs and mobile entertainers, said Scott Davies, General Manager of the American DJ Group of Companies.

The LED Matrix's low operating temperature does more than just keep dancers or performers cool - it also helps the mobile entertainer in a hurry pack the fixture away quickly without waiting for it to cool down.

Weighing only 39 lbs. and measuring less than 20" x 20" x 10", the LED Matrix unfolds in seconds from its own durable suitcase-style unit, complete with handles and a bracket for truss mounting. The unit can also be attached to American DJ's LTS-6 T-Bar Stand.
