AlumiSonic Aluminum Guitars will reveal its innovative Removable Pickup Chambering technology at the Great American Guitar Show at the Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia, PA, on July 12 and 13. AlumiSonic has obtained a provisional patent, a removable Pickup Chambering System. This allows the instruments to be converted from hollow to semi hollow by any basic level guitar shop with AlumiSonic chambers. The system is designed for hard rock players to internally encapsulate hotter pickups (per pickup) in order to help control the resonant feedback that hollow body guitars normally produce when extremely overdriven. The chambers provide the versatility to accommodate the needs of a broader spectrum of clients by the absence of, or installation of chambers.
Aside from shielding the pickup from internal resonant feedback the chamber material only influences the Aluminum sound to a minor degree. Available chambers range in weight and tone, Aluminum being the heaviest and brightest and Basswood being the lightest and warmest. Pickup Chambers are also offered in Ash and Mahogany for a more traditional sound. AlumiSonic will be attending the Great American Guitar Show on July 12-13 2008 at King of Prussia, PA.
AlumiSonic will have several models of guitars on display for the public to view and play. They will be demonstrating the incredible tone and clarity of their Master and Classic Alloy guitars, as well as the infinite sustain of their Ultra-1100 model.
