    Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's American Music Master series' latest honoree is none other than the renowned Jerry Lee Lewis. America's rock and roll pioneer has awed fans with his incredible piano and vocal skills for over 50 years. Alfred is honored to be able to present this significant DVD covering his greatest live performances of all time.

    To proclaim him a legend is an understatement, Jerry's countless lifetime accomplishments are a result of his uninhibited passion and raw musical talent. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, this November marks an unprecedented occasion; Jerry Lee Lewis will become the first-ever living inductee to be honored by the Rock Hall during the 12th Annual American Music Master series. Changing the course of musical history is no small feat; Jerry Lee Lewis's phenomenal piano skills, his legendary vocal style, his indefinable presence as a performer will forever reign as one of the country's defining influences on rock and roll as we know it.

    On the heels of his landmark recording Last Man Standing, Jerry Lee Lewis talks about his 50-year recording career, and, for the first time, demonstrates the piano style that defined rock and roll for all time. On Killer Piano, Jerry discusses his youth and career, reminisces with his family, and demonstrates many of his favorite rock and roll and country songs. Plus, the DVD is hosted by Linda Gail Lewis, features a complete live concert with Jerry's band at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, historic footage from Jerry's first appearance on the Steve Allen show, rare family photos, and printable sheet music transcriptions that pianists can use to study and learn Jerry's pivotal style.

    A weeklong celebration beginning November 5 will celebrate the legacy of Jerry Lee Lewis's contributions to rock and roll and to the entire musical arena. Alfred will present the world premiere of Jerry Lee Lewis: Killer Piano on Thursday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Museum's 4th Floor Theater. The screening will be open to the public, and will conclude with a discussion with Aaron Stang, the film's producer, and Warren Zanes, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum's Public Programs Producer and Education Adviser.
