    Yes: Fragile

    Authentic Guitar TAB Edition

Alfred has expanded the Classic Album Editions series with the new matching folio to Yes' legendary record Fragile. The Fragile matching folio provides authentic guitar TAB for all the songs on the album.

If you touched a guitar in the early 70s, you tried to play "Roundabout." From it's opening harmonics, and Spanish-guitar influenced introduction, Steve Howe's classically influenced approach to rock resounded with a whole generation of guitarists weaned on the blues scale.

A constantly changing and evolving band, this particular line-up of members, Jon Anderson (vocals), Steve Howe (guitar), Rick Wakeman (keyboards), Chris Squire (bass guitar) and Bill Bruford (drums), is largely considered one of the best configurations by Yes fans. Fragile, the first of only two records Yes released as this line-up, reached the top ten in the United States and was one of Yes' most successful albums.

Titles are: "Roundabout," "Cans and Brahms," "We Have Heaven," "South Side of the Sky," "Five Per Cent of Nothing," "Long Distance Runaround," "Fish (Schindleria Praematurus)," "Mood for a Day," and "Heart of the Sunrise."

    The Jim Croce Guitar Anthology

    Authentic Guitar TAB

Alfred is pleased to release The Jim Croce Guitar Anthology, providing authentic guitar TAB for some of Jim Croce's most famous songs.

Jim Croce was the definitive story-song composer. Known for his down-to-earth style of musical story-telling, his work has continued to stand the test of time since his untimely passing in a plane crash in 1973. From up-tempo, campy blues tunes with inspired story lines like "You Don't Mess Around With Jim," to heart-breakingly beautiful ballads like "Operator" and "Time in a Bottle," Jim's inspired dual guitar approach set a new standard for guitarists everywhere.

This book provides authentic guitar TAB for all the songs included. Titles are: "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown," "Dreamin' Again," "I Got a Name," "I'll Have to Say I Love You in a Song," "It Doesn't Have to Be That Way," "New York's Not My Home," "Operator (That's Not the Way It Feels)," "Photographs & Memories," "Roller Derby Queen," "These Dreams," "Time in a Bottle," "Workin' at the Carwash Blues," and "You Don't Mess Around with Jim."
