  • Alfred Publishing Releases Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin I

    By Guest |

In 1968, Jimmy Page, already a successful London studio musician at 23, and a member of the pivotal blues-rock group The Yardbirds, became the last remaining member of the band, left with the band name, and obligated to complete a tour. Page formed a new touring band - The New Yardbirds - featuring himself on guitar, fellow London session ace John Paul Jones on bass and keyboards, John Bonham on drums, and Robert Plant on vocals, to finish the tour.

Borrowing from an ironic dig from the Who's Keith Moon at the band's likelihood for success, the band soon changed their name to Led Zeppelin.

Their debut record, Led Zeppelin I, reached the U.S. Top Ten chart within two months of being released. This album-matching folio provides authentic guitar TAB for all the songs on the record.

Titles include: Good Times Bad Times * Babe I'm Gonna Leave You * You Shook Me * Dazed and Confused * Your Time Is Gonna Come * Black Mountain Side * Communication Breakdown * I Can't Quit You Baby * How Many More Times.
