Premier Piano Course: Pop and Movie Hits Book 1A and 1B include timeless selections,
arranged to correlate with concepts presented in each corresponding Lesson Book.
Optional duet parts for teacher or parent add harmonic richness to the solo parts.
Arrangements in Book 1A include: Annie’s Song * Bye, Bye Blackbird * It’s a Small
World * Mickey Mouse March * The Rose * Scooby Doo, Where Are You? * This Is It! *
This Land is Your Land * The Trolley Song * Up Where We Belong * Whistle While You
Work. Arrangements in Book 1B include: (Meet) The Flintstones * Great Balls of Fire
* Inspector Gadget * Over the Rainbow * Puff (The Magic Dragon) *
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious * Theme from “Ice Castles” * Theme from
“Superman” * We’re Off to See the Wizard * What a Wonderful World * Yo Ho (A
Pirate’s Life for Me).

Premier Piano Course is the newest piano method from Alfred Music Publishing, with
all-new original music by renowned authors, Dennis Alexander and Martha Mier, as
well as new arrangements of other favorites. Premier Piano Course’s musical
structure and concepts are presented in a fun, interactive way that keeps students
interested and enthusiastic about learning. Pedagogues, Dr. Gayle Kowalchyk, Dr.
E.L. Lancaster, and Dr. Victoria McArthur created theory books based on a
comprehensive musicianship approach that includes written theory, ear training,
sight-reading, and creative activities. Reading is introduced using a non-position
approach based on patterns and landmarks to produce strong sight-readers.

As part of Alfred’s ongoing commitment to improving our environment, these books are
printed on 100\% recycled paper stock.

Premier Piano Course: Pop and Movie Hits Book 1A and 1B are now available for $6.99
each, and can be found at a local music retailer or on alfred.com.
