Guitar Anthology by Killswitch Engage, featuring the virtuoso metal guitar pyrotechnics of Joel Stroetzel, features selected songs from all four of the band's CDs. Considered as one of the most influential members of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal, Killswitch Engage released their self-entitled debut album in 2000, and they followed it with their sophomore album Alive or Just Breathing, which included a music video for "My Last Serenade." The band rose to fame with their third release in 2004, The End of Heartache, which was certified gold in December 2007, and the title track, "The End of Heartache" was nominated for a Grammy® Award in 2005.
