Alfred Music Publishing Releases the William Finn Songbook

Alfred Music Publishing is excited to release The William Finn Songbook, a new folio of songs from Tony award-winning theater composer William Finn, arranged for piano and voice.

William Finn is noted for his work on the trilogy of musical shows In Trousers, March of the Falsettos, and Falsettoland, the latter two of which were combined into the musical Falsettos, winning Tony awards for "Best Music and Lyrics" and for "Best Book of a Musical." He later wrote the music and lyrics to The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which won Tony awards for "Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical" and "Best Book of a Musical."

The William Finn Songbook features 23 songs handpicked by Finn especially for this collection. Included are selections from his most famous Broadway musicals as well as songs from highly regarded shows as Elegies, A New Brain, and the unproduced musical The Royal Family of Broadway.
