Alfred Music Publishing is proud to release Beethoven’s Wig: Sing Along Symphonies,
a songbook of original and zany lyrics set to some of the greatest masterpieces of
classical music, by Richard Perlmutter.

Inspired and imaginative, Beethoven’s Wig: Sing Along Symphonies is an 11-song sheet
music collection arranged in easy piano/vocal notation and designed to open a door
to classical music appreciation in a way that is fun for both children and adults.
The album-matching songbook to the irreverent Beethoven’s Wig: Sing Along Symphonies
recording features humorous songs filled with fact and fancy about the world’s most
notable composers and their masterpieces.

Songs featured include “Just for Elise” (“Für Elise, Beethoven), “Tchaikovsky’s
Cannonball” (“1812 Overture,” Tchaikovsky), “Please Don't Play Your Violin at Night”
(“Eine Kleine Nachtmusik,” Mozart), and Perlmutter’s signature piece, “Beethoven’s
Wig” (“5th Symphony,” Beethoven), along with other pieces set to well-known works by
Schumann, Haydn, Liszt, and more.

All lyrics are written by musician, singer, producer, and creator of the Beethoven’s
Wig Recording Series Richard Perlmutter, whose witty renditions of classical music
greats are met with 46 national awards, four Parent’s Choice Award, and four Grammy®
nominations for “Best Music Album for Children.” Two of the series’ albums have held
the No. 1 position on the Amazon Popular Music Sales Charts.

“I’ve been contacted by professional choirs, community choirs, and choirs in
elementary schools who want to perform these songs,” says Perlmutter. “I’m
delighted that people want to sing them, and honored to play a part in sparking
music appreciation in a fun way.”

As part of Alfred’s ongoing commitment to improving our environment, this book is
printed on 100\% recycled paper stock.

Beethoven’s Wig: Sing Along Symphonies (00-37122) is now available for $12.99 at
