  • AES: Price Cuts on GigaStudio Software

    By Guest |

GigaStudio is now within the reach of more composers, arrangers and musicians. The price of GigaStudio 96, previously $399, has been lowered to $279, and the flagship 160-voice GigaStudio 160 has been lowered from $699 to $499.

GigaStudio, a sampling application for Windows, uses the company's patented Endless Wave technology, allowing samples to be streamed off of the hard drive with low latency. Up to 4.3 gigabyte samples can be loaded, for the ultimate in realistic instrument reproduction. GigaStudio 160 delivers 64 MIDI channels distributed over four ports for lush arrangements, playing back 160 voices of polyphony in real time.

Some of the finest sample libraries in the world are all available for GigaStudio, many exclusively so, and are instantly searchable using the QuickSound database. Each part can be internally mixed with high-quality 32-bit effects or individually output for external mixing.
