    Viva Atlantic City!

The 2010 International DJ Expo in Atlantic City Will Be a Time to Shine for American DJ and American Audio

The magic of Atlantic City will sparkle just a little brighter on August 16 – 19 as the legendary Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino is transformed into the fabulous destination for the 20th annual 2010 International DJ Expo. American DJ and American Audio will be featured guests at this technological affair, as they get set to showcase all-new products, including the long-awaited International debuts of several never-before-seen lighting effects. With all the buzz surrounding their arrival at the event, there will certainly be no shortage of excitement at the American DJ and American Audio booth during this year’s International DJ Expo.

On the audio front, the show marks the first time the long-anticipated American Audio VMS4 arrives on the market. Show attendees will be treated to an informative demo of the VMS4 and will have the opportunity to order the coveted technological treasure. This amazingly versatile 4-channel “MIDILOG” controller fuses both MIDI and analog audio control into one sleek, sophisticated unit. Billed as “the ultimate DJ performance tool,” the VMS4 can be used with either a PC or MAC. If the computer crashes, it will kick into analog mode, where CD players or turntables may be used, or a DJ can use an external power supply. The unit can also be personalized with the option of customized skins.

The 2010 International DJ Expo will serve as a launch party for “ADJ University”, an innovative new online educational program that takes its “students” through an A-Z guide to using lighting and audio products in a variety of effective ways; from programming a memorable lighting show to equipment maintenance and everything in between. “University” students will be guided by their “professor”, Brian Redd of YouTube fame, as he teaches and enlightens bright minds eager to learn.

Here’s a quick rundown of brand-new products from American DJ that are sure to win big in Atlantic City:

    • Hyper Gem LED: A 4-way LED Moonflower effect with sharp RGBW color beams, a large variety of built-in programs (Sound Active & Master/Slave) and no moving parts for extremely long unit life.
    • Gobo Projector LED (Available September, 2010): Bright white 10W LED indoor Gobo Projector includes 4 replaceable gobo patterns (3 metal; 1 glass) and 4 color gels (Red, Green, Blue & Yellow).
    • Snap Shot LED: White LED Strobe with 220 bright LEDs, strobe speed adjustment knob and the ability to link multiple Snap Shot LEDs with 1/4" mono plugs.
    • Big Shot LED: White LED Strobe with 96 bright LEDs, strobe speed adjustment knob and features a lightweight high tech plastic case.
