  • Biography
"I started playing guitar at the age of 13 and was heavily influenced by bands like Motley Crue, Poison, and Bon Jovi. Like many other players at the time, guitar players such as, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eddie Van Halen, and George Lynch heavily influenced me. It was also around this time that I started listening to the two guitar players who would have the biggest influence on me, Vinne Moore and Eric Johnson.

I’ve studied with several amazing local guitar teachers: Gerry Adams, Nate Comp, John Maggio. David Newsam, and Jimmy Magoon. I thank all of you for all you've shown me and for helping me down the road to being the guitar player I am today."

"Over the next several years my focus stared to slowly drift away from heavy, guitar oriented music and more towards soul and funk. Artist like Lenny Kravitz, Prince, James Brown, George Clinton and Rick James were the biggest influences and I also admired the fact that they played multiple instruments and in some cases (Lenny Kravitz and Prince), played all the instruments on their records. I was also getting away from the standard power chords and adding jazzier extensions, which enabled me to expand my chord vocabulary as well as the ability to better express myself."

"I've also been blessed with the opportunity to play with artists such as Josh Logan, Bren Scott and Chad LaMarsh."
