1. Some sounds of the redesigned 1st channel w/ the 2nd channel featured in the song at the end:
2. please do, that's another amp i've been interesting in but due to the lack of clips out there i can't really assess it. anyways, i've heard some clips of the Twin Jet and it sounds phenomenal and actually alot more versatile besides playing br00tal metal tones than what i've been lead to believe when it comes to the uberschall around here. Will do bro...I can give you a reference from the 101b, 20th XTC and the Twin Jet after I've hearing all 3. I can tell you right now that I like the 20th much more than the 101b. The compression and the slower attack bothered me after awhile...it's a great amp, nonetheless and still one of the best I've played through. The 20th actually sounds even bigger, yet has more bite. You can crank the mids and it just sounds more woody/organic. Pretty cool...never had an amp that didn't get harsh with the mids maxed. Shoot me a PM with your phone number and I'll give you a call after I get the TJ in...I can record some clips, too if you're still uncertain.
3. Uberschall is a completely different amp than those two. Totally different sound. Sure, they're all totally different amps... but the Twin Jet can cover similar tones of both the aforementioned amps and could save him some money.
4. wouldn't the uberschall be the in between cheapest option? Yeah, that's what I was saying...I've heard nothing but good things about it. I can let the OP know more once I get mine later this week.
5. The 20th Ecstasy is the greatest amp I've ever heard...I even like it a lot more than the 101b. The clean channel is incredibly good this time around as well... It's been awhile since I've played a Mesa, but they never had a crunch tone I cared for...sort of a flat sounding midrange and harder to get that nice smooth, yet articulate high end. The new Twin Jet Uberschall does a tighter Mesa Recto meets JCM800 sound and then you have the first channel for more of the traditional Marshall crunch or cleans. But, yeah, the Ecstasy can do it all...especially the 20th.
6. Ecstasy. But I'm not much of a Mesa fan...
