Good dealings with Altgtr33

Thanks I think I will either go passive or go with the 60 in the neck with an 85 in chrome. Anyone try the chrome ones? I wonder if they sound any different.

I know I like the EMG 85/89 as a bridge pickup but what about the neck? The 60 sounds good but I have never tried the 81 so wondering who has tried it and what did you think. If it sounds good in the neck of a LEs Paul might buy one of the splittable 81s for the neck and an 89 for the bridge.

Want to trade my Duncan Seth lovers with chrome/nickle covers out of my les paul for dimarzio paf joe and breed or mojoe. I also have a squire bullet I would like upgrade the pickups in. I am also looking for a cheap strat copy with trem that plays good.
