  1. Sales is a tough gig to get into, especially when you first start off. Typically you make nothing to start, and have to build up clientele from there, aside from the occasionally drop of luck...which won't happen often since the people who have seniority over you are going to get treated better. There's plenty of jobs out there where you can make a lot more, and have steady pay, for the amount of hours you put into being in sales. I'm a personal trainer, who may as well be in sales doing what i do...I love my job for the most part, it's a passion of mine, I believe in the product I sell with all my heart, and I can provide dozens of personal references who say training with me is money well spent. It's still TOUGH to make ends meat doing what I do, I couldn't imagine slinging used cars that I don't have the some belief behind.
  2. spend a little more and get a used mark IV combo
  3. i would look for a used mesa caliber series combo
  4. i agree with the OP about the herbert...it sounds good, but not $4k good
  5. it's really {censored}ty that she'd put your kids thru that
  6. albeit a fairly small one, it's still one for the good guys

  9. Originally posted by Petrucci_is_God I notice everyone loves the Mark III....so why did they discontinue it??? because they released the mark IV, which is very similar but offers a few added features
  10. Originally posted by Petrucci_is_God Ok. Any idea what marshall cabs are good? Which ones would sound good with a mesa head? i'd try to get a 1960av cab (with vintage 30 speakers)
  11. i as well would have to reccomend you a used mark III if you can find one...either a combo, or a head + cab setup (you could go with a non mesa cabs, as there are a lot of nice ones around)

Originally posted by Negative K3 fan i dont think anyone with enough common sence wouldnt agree, but there are many roads leading to rome and in matters like this it is crucial to look at which roads makes the juice worth the squeeze and select the best out of them, it can be debated if that has been done. i could agree with that...i just think that it's ridiculous to see so many people pointing fingers and playing the blame game, when we've got such intense work to complete in iraq and afghanistan...and iran posing itself as a larger threat each day everyone is too busy chasing their tails in dc, and trying to win over public opinion...when they should be working WITH the president (whether they support him or not) and stop trying to deny the fact that he is the one in power, and not them
  13. we can argue about why we invaded iraq, and whether it was right or wrong till we're all blue in the face...point is that we're there now, let's try beating some live horses for a change i think the world will be a better place with saddam out of power
