And the C1 I bought new (at the same time) was $149. I'll check the local MGR tomorrow and see what they are charging now. Thanks bro, that would be sweet. The C1's are going for $199 everywhere too. If they still have them for $79 please let me know If not, I think Im going to save up and buy 2 B1's and then a C1 for vocals.
  2. Originally posted by jchas Yes, and No. They are making some mics that have been compared to much more expensive mics by some people. I have a SP-B1 ($79 new) that I really like the sound of - so I tried another one and it didn't sound much like the first one. Then I heard great things about their C1 and tried one - I liked it, so I went out and bought one ($150) which I don't like at all. So do they sound like much more expensive ones? I guess it depends on which Chinese guy put it together. Where can you get a B1 for $79 new ? Please let me know. I am in the market to get 2 of them for overheads. Thanks!
