The most obvious to my untrained eye is the fretboard. No way that's ebony. Looks like rosewood. i guess it's the settings on my monitor or something, but it doesn't appear like it couldn't be ebony

guess I'm missing what the tell tale signs of fakeness are, can someone enlighten me?

This is the rig at the moment. I will most likely get rid of the peavey ultra since I don't use it it anymore. The Kramer is a 2003 from musicyo.com with a mo' joe in the bridge and the gibson is a '94 studio with an ebony fretboard. The combo is a '93 Rivera R-30 (thirty twelve). The pedals are a Boss TU-2, 535q, h2o, NS-2 and a rocktron silver dragon. Don't really use the pedals too much since I don't have room to keep them out but I was rocking the wah last night and forgot how much I missed it.
