  1. If you give a greater tolerance, +/- 0.050 instead of the standard +/- 0.005, you no longer run into quality issues. Where is the problem again?
  2. I don't know who the {censored} John Mayer is but after reading his quotes - {censored}ING FUNNY!!
  3. they do. I have more of my faves playing Les Pauls than fenders for sure. But when I play one, I just don't connect with it. But a 335 totally blows me away. It doesn't make sense to me. Nut Width Standard Gibson: 1.695" +/- .050" While .050" may not sound like much, that is equal to 1.27mm. 1.695 inches = 43.053 millimeters Now the nut width is ranging from 41.783mm to 44.323mm. A lot of people say that 42mm vs. 43mm (1mm) makes a huge difference so one can only image what 2.54mm (low to high) would feel like on 2 different guitars.
  4. "look at my new guitar I got on ebay for $200" "great job!" "what a steal!!" "dude, that thing is worth $1500!" --- "look at my new guitar I got from an old man who didn't know what he had for $200" "scum bag" "loser" "you have no morals and I hope karma catches up with you"
  5. This thread reminds me of the one where the guy is surfing for porn and finds his fiancee doing an amature movie.
  6. The thread got deleted that night. I think removing that thread entirely was a poor choice on the mods part. Better to delete an offending post than a whole thread. The guy and his coworker stole a 1960 Gibson (plus and unnamed guitar) from and old man, and his employer, and came on this forum to brag about it. How much truth is really behind that though? People will only brag about stuff if they want to get caught by the police and go to jail.
  7. The Highway One models have a 43mm nut width as opposed to the normal 42mm nut width found on the majority of guitars. For me, that 1mm makes a HUGE difference while other people don't even notice it.
  8. since you were a kid???? what is the Spongebob show like 3 years old?????? LOL ripe old man of what 17 now???????? The pilot episode of SpongeBob SquarePants first aired in the United States on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999, following the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
