  1. I played a friend of mines tele that's made from ash and it's pretty heavy. Good to hear that's a good guitar for the money.
  2. I've been skeptical about buying anything guitars from GFS. The that doesn't look cheap is the tele.
  3. They do offer a ebony board guitar but unlike the one Eddie is playing, it doesn't have a floyd.
  4. I'm sorta over the whole guitar solo thing during concerts. Do I want to here someone wank off or get to hear another song? And, yeah, this is the same Eddie solo that he's been doing for 30+ years. Either change it or stop it. Kinda agree. I want to hear something different.
  5. That might be the most beautiful body I've ever seen.
  6. the G-DEC will sound good but you have to dial them in. That's what the Fender Fuse software is for. Will the Marshall ever sound like a true Marshall? No. Now I do have to say that the Fender models sound very good and the Mesa models sound good. But I have yet to play a modeler that can capture the true sound of a Marshall. There has always been something lacking there.
  7. I play classic rock, country and metal. The Axe-FX is a great and the Eleven is a good one. When it comes to modelers you get what you pay for. If it's cheap then it will sound cheap.
  8. Your moronic generalization of modelers is laughable. Seems like to me you have neither taken the time trying and use them effectively or you're simply an old geezer that yells at kids to get of your porch. Seems like you have played some {censored} modelers (old Line 6 stuff or Johnson amps) and generalizing that they are all {censored}.
  9. And most still have a backline rig. Fact. (we're still talking rock&roll right? good) Most bands are still using tube amps but alot of them are not running DI's into the PA's, like I said most bands with walls of cabs are dummies unless your Yngwie. I know some session guys in Nashville when they play live, they will play with some sort of modeler in a club so they won't have to haul their amps. But at the end of the day is all preference.
  10. Nope no deal breaker for me. Like some have said most bands now are using in ears and most cabs are dummies.
  11. Probably this http://www.exlusiveguitars.com/exlusive_shredder.html Import taxes would kill him.
  12. Not going to happen. Scalloped guitars are expensive.
