  4. I'll start. Last year, I had sold off a lot of stuff and didn't know what to do with the money. Among things I almost bought - a blue Ric 620, a pre-peavey Budda Superdrive, the one I'll mention here is an Ovation Viper III. It fascinated me for a while. I don't even know why, it's such a weird thing for me to like. What reminded me was seeing one on ebay today. Here's a pic of one:
  5. I can't remember what model but Gibson put out a Les Paul with an MSRP of like 8000. That was specific to a finish too. You could get the same guitar in a different finish for a few thousand dollars less.

  7. Maybe you weren't paying attention earlier and are paying more attention now, so it sounds better now.
  8. Thanks everyone for the feedback and suggestions. Against the recommendation of many of you, I ended up ordering a Hot Rod Deluxe III. I played one and I liked it.
  9. Yeah, if you can get a Musicmaster amp, they're pretty solid for anything. Also, the very rare Fender Harvard (the vintage one, not the solid state reissue). Here's an awesome demo of one. '68 Gibson LPC through a '58 Harvard. But this are pretty rare/expensive. I just felt like mentioning it. [video=youtube;qzps_eP3cIk]
  10. The Bandmaster and Bassman also pop up on craigslist for relatively cheap sometimes. I've seen a Cyber Twin, but I have no idea what it does/ sounds like.
  11. I would love to find a Ric 620 or 330 but can't find a place to play one. Actually, that's a lie, there's two 330's at my local GC but they're hanging really high up on the wall and I don't think they'd let a teenager play them anyway.
