  1. Cars are important, I don't let my total invested in gear go past 20% of what I have invested in cars. I collect classic cars and drive newer German cars so my perspective may not be that of your average person. Regardless get a respectable car before spending a dime on more gear or your life isn't going to be balanced. People who can really afford to own nice gear don't need to sell it when times get hard, you should be able to afford to own your house, cars and gear. If you buy a nice lp now in life I am willing to bet it will be on the block in short order to make up for some shortage, car expense, school expense etc, that is just the way life is when you are that age unless your folks are loaded. A bit later in life when the money starts rolling in you will be able to buy what you want and will be able to afford to keep it:thu:.
  2. I always seem to have a Lee Jackson crate stealth around, great amp especially for the price, not the best cosmetics. I made a head shell for mine so problem solved. I don
  3. I am working out a deal with him. An ofr block will not fit. That trem is very specific, licensed jinah block, single locking trem like you would see on a charvette or an older bc rich etc, the parts are proprietary and I believe the spacing as well. fretsonthenet and stewmac would be great if it were an ofr, scahller, kahler etc.
  4. That was highly unusual for them so I did call. They do not charge 799 for bv120's, the tag was switched. Someone probably walked away with a bv300 priced as a 120, who knows. When Daddys gets a bv300 in stock they are priced in that range, feel free to call back.
  5. For anyone wondering, this is what they go for used in a retail chain store. I bet you could walk out the door with it for $750, maybe less.http://www.daddys.com/used/?itemnumber=CRA0083A
