It keeps pulling me back...(think Al Pacino in Godfather III). I bought this for $200 at Guitar Center in '06. It was pretty beat up, gave it a good cleaning and was set to be a backup. It has since become my main axe. The frets, neck (which I sanded to give a satin-y feel), electronics all still work. Put some Sperzel locking tuners on it and it's a player - lots of dings and dents to give it a real "relicked" look. It's a keeper - can't say much about other MIK guitar from this era. Very few minor complaints - the weight, hard to see the fret dots, wish the middle position was HH instead of SS but hey - it has never failed me on a gig - and that's what counts. 4.5/5.
