It would be great to hear people write songs about the groupies in the various stories in this mighty thread.

And I wanted to add that I really enjoyed all of the other stores too! All the unvarnished truths about the road, beautiful or ugly, or funny or fugly that is why I read the WHOLE thread, with all its comments. Great stuff! Now, I have to take my eyes out and soak them in a cup of water like my dentures.

Hi Terry D, Your story is excellent! Ha! I just read it! After you just wrote it 6 years ago. There is enough material in your story to write a number of great songs. Your story also fueled me enough to read all 65 pages of postings on this thread in one sitting. I think my eyeballs are going to fall out of my head. What made your story so excellent was the interpretations and sensitive wisdom you pulled out of it and your life. Your sensitivity inspired some of the groupies to share their side of the experience. So, this thread was doubly rich. I can't wait to listen to some of your music.

Flipping guitars and making money from it requires a huge time investment. Being at the right place at the right time, all the time, with the right knowledge ... takes a lot of time. You might consistently make more money at a student job. Student jobs are pretty cool because they usually just require you to sit somewhere and deal with the occasional student that comes by.
