Welladjusted

I've yet to really want for more than my Tribute Asat. I've seen guitars I find prettier (not surprisingly, a different variant of the ASAT), but tonally and playability wise, I'm pretty much set.

Followed by Henry Rollins, Danzig,Lee Ving and David Lee Roth. Can't speak for Danzig or Lee Ving (and don't give a {censored} about David Lee Roth) but Rollins is pretty vocal in his support for gay rights, so he's got no reason to lie about his sexuality.

I dinked around with the compressor on my amp (I know, probably not a shining example) and didn't really dig it. But it's hardly a crutch. Anything that gets you where you want to be tone-wise isn't a crutch.

His playing sounds like scale exercises to me. There's no melody and no hooks. Paul Gilbert matches him in skill, or at least comes close enough for my liking, and his wanking is far more listenable
