  1. Hi DarkCide, If you didn't install drivers with the card, then Windows is just using a generic driver. Sure, the card will work decently, but it's not ideal. I would recommend getting the latest driver for your card and installing it. You'd be surprised how much that can improve the image quality.
  2. It's not going to make a difference. As long as it can handle the resolutions you like, it should be fine. If you want to use a DVI connector as is found on LCD monitors, make sure the card has it. Most cards, even older ones, have them these days. If you want to use a dual display, you would have to get something a little nicer, of course. You should be fine with that card.
