  1. I thought the Tupac hologram was pretty cool. From what I've read, the Coachella performance was partially celebrating 20 years of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg working together and, at a high profile event, they were able to pay tribute to their fallen friend. Other people will abuse the technology, sure, but when that happens, there's simply no need to support it.
  2. One of my old bands had a song like that. We originally started by launching into an instrumental version of the verse, but then someone had the idea to begin with the bridge (which was also wordless) instead. Bridge Verse Chorus Verse Chorus Bridge Verse Chorus and now I forget how we ended it, but it really added a lot of tension to song and sounded so much better. Of course, by that point, we were so used to starting without the bridge, that someone would always forget the new arrangement. For the rest of our time together, whenever we'd play that song one of us would always have to call out "start with the bridge!" just as we were about to begin to ensure that the song went off without a mess.
  3. I used my 15 watt practice amp when I lived in a dorm. Space is going to be very limited, and you really don't need that much volume to fill up a dorm room. If you plan on gigging, that's another story -- but if you're just going to practice in your room, go with something small.
  4. I always think of the Bends/OK Computer/Kid A as being the band's "Holy Trinity" but if I were to rank their albums by personal preference, I'd go: 1. either OK Computer or Kid A 3. Amnesiac 4. The Bends 5. either Hail to the Thief or In Rainbows 7. Pablo Honey
