  1. What the heck happened to this place? Where is Cool Jam? Alright so I'll just poast a link to a bunch of songs and see if it crashes this forum or not And here is another just for good measure
  2. So here are few goofy songs for you to review. My brother and I lived like 1,500 miles apart and to communicate we'd talk on a cassette tape and send them back and forth. At one point my brother who was pretty good on guitar started putting a mini concert on side B of the tape... he'd do interviews with supposed band members and it was pretty funny. As I was learning guitar and responded, this musical competition took off. The songs got more interesting and better as time went on. It seems like once I get a theme, the words come together but for me I always had to have the music figured out first and then I could wrap the lyrics around it. Having just lyrics and then coming up with a piece of music / song for them was more difficult. I grabbed some of those old tapes (and later digital multitrack) recordings and tried to clean them up a bit. A few I put to videos which I'll post here. See what you think! The first is called Something's Wrong. Actually what IS wrong is the song goes from a d minor to an e major, but somehow the minor got buried in the mix... and the solo needs re-done but anyway, here it is: This is a really old one that I did in the 90s. The video was edited VHS and somehow it sort of came together. No Vettes were harmed in this video. This is one my brother wrote... I didn't have time to do a good video for it so it's just some photos that I took of different bands and then others are pix from the net.
  3. Some songs I'm right on but I can't figure out what is going on with the slow drumming. I wonder if there is latency with the signal getting back to the recorder or something. What is a good technic or fix for something like that ...other than time shift the drum track?
  4. It isn't "kwasa-dilla," it's more like "Casa-deya." Dictionary.com says "teh other white meat." I don't care what you say about it, it soothes my tum-tum. There's a Quesadilla place in town and I am just finishing up a delicious quesadilla. Yum. Who else likes this delightful, but misleadingly-spelled food?
  5. I love my JTM45 I had the original Marshall version but was unhappy with it even after upgrading the transformers and many of the parts. The Ceriaton kicked major ass right out of the box :cop:
  6. JTM45 here boys ...... running teh KT77s because the KT66s sucked.
  7. introduce yourself, -what are you studying? -what school? -waht year are you? Quit trying to kiss up to the amp forum ...... the damage has been done and they are on to you

Someone put a Greenback in there, but it is a point to point wired amp and it has that killer tone. I can easily blackface it, but it sounds so good I don't see a reason to do it.....
  9. ....The Acoustics include: 1998 Gibson Hummingbird 1999 Martin HD28V Some German little thing that I ebayed already... I forget the name. ....and a Galvaston Chinese Hummingbird knock off.... that actually isn't a bad sounding playing guitar ..... I bought it for a beater guitar to take out in harms way....
