  1. I haven't been here in a coon's age, I left when it fell apart. Now I'm old and sickly, but I still love guitar.
  2. I use to hang out here, learned a lot from a lot of amazing people, sold and traded a ton of pedals....I still have way too many.
  3. My Sincere Condolences Woody. Leah was a beautiful dog.
  4. Kustom Defender V15 Guitar Combo Amplifier (15 Watts, 1x10") $150 shipped cont.USA I am suprised this little gem is still available. Woody I have a ton of dirt pedals, some sound like crap with certain guitars and amps (setups/configurations) while others sound perfect through the same setups & vise versa...it's pretty wierd. Anyway if I hadn't blown so much money on the great deals thread I would like to give that TECH-21 a whirl. Good luck.
  5. A few years ago Sam Ash was blowing out PRS Miras for $900, I was so close to pulling the trigger on one or two.
  6. oh and the Les Paul MF sent me was like this. I can't stand gold hardware I'm not crazy about gold hardware as well, but that guitar pictured would be an acception, I would {censored}in hit that:love:
  7. Wow looking very good! That basement layout looks very familiar, do you live in the midwest? Illinois or Wisconsin?
  8. WTF is that? Educate my black ass Not much to tell, I got mine used around seven years ago at the list sale at GC on Halstead in Chicago $329...I can't bring myself to get rid of it, everytime I plug it in I say to myself, no {censored}in way am I ever selling this amp...I don't need a 50 watt amp, but it does have a 10 watt mode which sounds great as well...below is the only information I could find online. http://www.gear-vault.com/rocktron-egnater-tol-50-tube-amp/
  9. This is my favorite head, but you don't hear much about them, nor do I see many come up on eBay.
  10. Not true. I'm a very easy going person with a thick skin. I can take the BS and I can dish it out. I apologize PunKKitty. Hey I think that black/dark back is hot, I worked from home today, but I will be in tomorrow to check that guitar out...maybe I will work:facepalm:
  11. Any actual pics of yours? Mine is still on the way. I cancelled the GT with P90 that I posted earlier and went with this one instead. I was hoping it has the black pup rings as well. It's basicly what I posted, however, it seems a little more aged white (Not black rings or ebony neck) but very {censored}in cool...I've been busy playing this guitar, right out of the box and I'm in love...this very well could be the best playing and sounding guitar I ever owned...I'm pretty sure I will end up keeping the GT as well, it's at my work, I didn't go in today, so I will check it out tomorrow. Anyway this white one kicks-ass, plays great, great neck profile, sustains all day long, well balanced, not to heavy, better neck accesability and the pickups rule:thu:
  12. Every once and a while a hunch turns out to be right, I guess. Don't forget to try to get M123 to do a price match to make it $899, when they open this morning. I don't think the SDotD looks like that picture though. The pickup rings are black, the switch tip is white, it looks like an ebony board like the other Classic White LP's have and the description says it has a dark back. The pictures of the other colors on the MF website look like it is actually a black back. The white with light back does sort of look like an iced cookie. I think it needs that black back to make it pop. The DC Classic Exclusive on Gibson's website might be the one, but the MF site said their model is a limited-run. Your picture and the others on the Gibby site are supposed to be a "dark back". Wasn't that RD Standard that blew out a couple of weeks ago also listed as an Exclusive on the Gibson website? From the MF website: "The Les Paul Double Cutaway celebrates this popular model in a limited-edition guitar with special appointments. This limited run of Gibson Les Pauls is available in three finishes: ebony, bullion gold and classic white with a dark back and neck." Of course the pics on the MF website aren't even internally consistent. Look at the GT, one pic has a light back and aged switch tip, the other has a dark back and white one. Also, I think they are talking about Burstbucker Pro pickups, unless anyone else has actually heard of the "Rhythm Pro" pickup by Gibson. Got the white one, I am dissapointed that ist's not the one MF had listade w/ebony board and black pup rings, what I got was the guitar above from Gibson's site....hmm. It's st still pretty dam nice for $999...i will have to think about this. The GT I has shipped to my work.
