  1. So sorry to hear that, Woody! Mojo from me and my dog.
  2. Steve, I want to apologize for thinking I was Above The Law in criticizing your blues. After reading your post, I now feel Under Seige and On Deadly Ground. Now that you're Out For Justice I can only hope I'm not Marked For Death. If I have to I'll head Into The Sun to be Out Of Reach of The Patriot and Mercenary For Justice. I realize you're probably Out For A Kill but I'll even brave the Belly Of The Beast to elude your Urban Justice and the threat of being Pistol Whipped or shot. I'm already Half Past Dead and the Exit Wounds would probably put me Out Of Reach of The Glimmer Man since my Ticker is no longer able to fight Against The Dark against A Dangerous Man like you. But, I was Born To Raise Hell so I'll take up my Machete if need be in my Flight Of Fury if you choose to be the Shadow Man of The Keeper of the blues. You'll never throw the Kill Switch on me or utter the words "Today You Die" as long as you wield a guitar in vain!
  3. My new LP BFG is chambered (I think - must be because the thing is nice and light) and it sounds fantastic. I think people make too big of a deal out of this.

  5. Great transaction with vcnyls Thanks Mazi, and a BIG thanks for the new amp!
  6. I think I'm better looking than a bunch of them... but pretty much all of them can out-play me.
  7. Good friend of mine has the Bich version of that guitar. It's kinda absurd... in a good way.
  8. I came back into this thread to see what the other responses were. For the first time ever, I'm going to quote myself: Sounds like your friend needs therapy.
  9. FOR SALE OR TRADE: LTD Truckster James Hetfield signature guitar. I won this brand new, today from Sam Ash in Manhattan. It's really not my thing so this is going up as feeler spam for a possible sale or trade. Guitar retails for $900 new. New it doesn't come with a case but at Sam Ash I bought an Ibanez case that mostly fits it (would ship with towels for support and to fill the space). Case has a hunk taken out of it on the side but works fine and once boxed would be fine to ship in. I'm flexible on the price. For trades, I'm flexible too. Off the top of my head, I'd consider an American Tele, Gibson LP Vintage Mahogany, Gibson SG faded (plus cash probably). Not 100% on selling but let's see what you've got to offer. Cheers, Josh
  10. Thanks for the advice all. We shall see where this thing goes.
  11. I'll provide a different perspective. I've had lots of guitars that fall into the "whenever I play it, I like it" category, and I do NOT think that that phenomenon (by itself) means you should keep it. I had an Epiphone Sheraton that was a really nice guitar, but it tended to sit in its case. A few times a year, I'd think, wow, I should play that Sheraton more often, and I'd pull it out and play it, and think to myself, "Wow, this is a really nice guitar." But then it would go back into its case, until the next time a few months later when I thought, "Wow, I should play that Sheraton more often." I finally recognized this pattern, and when I needed some money I put it up for sale. I was worried that I'd have regrets, since it had some nostalgic value, but that was a year and a half ago and I have not missed it at all. I'm sure if I still had it I would pull it out a few times a year and play it and think what a nice guitar it was, but there's not some big empty void in my life because it's gone. Hopefully, as a player you get to a point where you can tell good guitars from bad guitars. At that point, ALL your guitars should be good guitars, guitars you like. That certainly doesn't mean you should never sell another guitar! If you have a guitar you absolutely love, by all means keep it. If you have a guitar you need to cover something you play in a band, well, you probably shouldn't sell that unless you can immediately replace it with a new guitar that will do the same thing. But if you have a nice guitar---a guitar you like when you play it---but you just haven't bonded with it and/or you'd really prefer to have something else, why not sell it? In fact, I'd say all the people oohing and aahing over it in this thread just indicate that it's a popular guitar and you'll probably be able to sell it for a good price without too many headaches. All these guys who claim they'd never sell it---hey, this is their chance to buy one! Bonus for you! Also, don't get too caught up in the "don't sell it in this economy" business. I don't want to be too conspiracy-theory, but there's enough uncertainty out there that there's no guarantee that things are going to get better anytime soon. If you can sell the guitar at a good price (indeed, at a profit!), don't look a gift horse in the mouth! Very good points... I'm honestly sitting right in the middle here and not sure how to proceed. It's up in the spam thread and if someone offers me the right thing (a LP Custom would do it or a really nice Standard) I'd do the deal. If not, it's nice to know that there are people interested. In the mean time, I'll keep playing it more.
  12. Hahha. I thought you were saying I wasn't going to be able to trade for what I was suggesting and I was surprised. Yeah, it is very good looking - we'll see what happens with it and what I'm offered. It could be yours, you know...
  13. I saw the post in the "spam" thread, and I think you're crazy!!! Why am I crazy?
  14. On the fence. We'll see what trades come. Sometimes how much you miss one thing depends on what you replace it with...
