Honestly, the best way to have dealt with Saddam, was to have chained him to the town square (where the mob attacked the fallen statue of him) in Bagdad. And then, any and all american forces simply turned their backs to where he was chained...but let anyone in who wanted to see him. Let his own people deal with him in the most brutal of ways. This way, our hands are clean...and Saddam gets a public execution by arabs.
