I saw most of the film.
It was mildly interesting.
I was more interested in watching Jimmy Page's fingering on the Ramble On part than most anything else.
I still don't care too much for White's playing, but I give him kudos for the blood all over the elctric guitar part. He's got heart, I'll give him that.
WTF was with the little kid dressed up like him? Very Zeppelin-esque, like straight out of the Song Remains the Same movie.....all that was missing was the glowing eyes. Strange.
I don't think you could find 3 more different guitar players. Perhaps the point, but it struck me as an odd combination, to say the least. 3 guys with absolutely NOTHING in common (other than Page and the Edge sell/sold out stadium gigs). ????
I'd like to see the rest of it, but doubt I would watch it again.
(Watched it up the Stairway to Heaven footage, then kind of got bored. There's only so many times I can watch that......certainly wasn't the best live version of the song I've ever heard, either).
I've always been a huge fan of the Edge, and while he was certainly modest and self-depricating in his ability, he really doesn't impress me too much anymore.
I did enjoy the part where Page and White are noodling along to "I Will Follow" though. They kind of look at him like "OH, so THAT'S how you play that...." I kind of smiled at that one.
