  1. Added this recently, a 1986 Charvel Model 1. Modded with a DiMarzio and push-pull coil tap. Always wanted one, finally found mine! And my 1994 Jackson JDX-94 I think I may have posted earlier, wizard thin neck, great guitar!
  2. I whipped out this bad boy the other day while jamming a little after work and I had forgotten how easy to play this little monster is. The neck is so damn thin it's ridiculous! I've been thinking of trimming the herd but there is no way I'm getting rid of this one! The true color is a nice Ferrari Red, though this pic makes it look orange. Better pic earlier in the thread. Ps: That Jack Butler clone is TOTAL {censored}ING WIN! I've always loved that guitar, just as iconic as the Green Meanie and the Jem in my book. I always root for him in the movie, but to no avail...;-)
  3. Are there any factory production HSH without a trem? Yup, and I really want one of these! http://www.ibanez.com/ElectricGuitars/model-RG1451
  4. I have a few HSH loaded guitars. Ibanez RG 470 MIJ.
  5. Well, last year we spent a lot of money getting the house in order and ready for the arrival of our baby daughter (our first and only), so guitar gear purchases were put on hold throughout most of the year. It was ok because in December I did get a decent bonus from my job, so I did go a little crazy and picked up a couple of Ibanez guitars (MIJ RG 470 at a pawnshop for 140 and an RG 320 from craigslist for 35 bucks), and a {censored}load of pedals for cheap at pawnshops. Now I'm pretty much set as far as gear goes.
  6. I never get sick of seeing Page Hamilton sig model. That is one of my favorite ESP guitars ever.
  7. I have both the Metal Zone and the DS-1 on my pedalboard currently, and neither of them suck IMO. I learned the hard way a long time ago that less gain is a good thin with both pedals. I'm going to replace the MZ with a SD-1 or a Tube Screamer tomorrow at band practice (both in the collection already, hooray for cheap pawnshop scores!). I'm going to use the DS-1 for my primary distorted sound and the SD-1 or TS to juice things up for solos.
  8. I like it! I don't think it's worth seven grand, but it is a cool looking guitar.
  9. I built mine, nothing more than a piece of 5/8" plywood, about 24"x16". Added a couple of small blocks about 3/4"x3/4"x 4" under the top edge to angle it a bit. Painted it black with a rattle can and added some industrial strength Velcro strips that I got from work. Couple of large screen door handles added for carrying. Total cost:0$ since I had everything lying around the house. If I ever start gigging, I can head down to the thrift store an buy a suitcase to fit it into for cheap. Just add some foam padding and I'm good to go. Yes I'm a cheap bastard.
  10. Not sure what took him away from us, but I agree that he is underrated. Hell of a singer, very soulful.
  11. ^^that white Charvel is a 375 Deluxe. Great guitars, I had one in pearl blue with a rosewood fretboard. Still miss it. Here it is in the 1990-1991 catalog. http://audiozone.dk/cm/displayimage.php?pid=681&fullsize=1
  12. Man this thread is giving me gas! One of my all time favorite guitars ever is the black Charvel Model 1 with a maple fretboard. Just a simple, beautiful guitar.
  13. I want in!!! Been rockin and rolling since the day I was born!!!
