Exactly. We should all know by now to look up reviews and such before jumping on anything. Spec descriptions are frequently wrong.
I've played close to 100 Gibsons, probably 30 Japanese copies, and about 30 other "mixed copies."
The Japanese ones are consistently just as good, and sometimes just plain better than the American Gibsons.
Some of you guys are really behind.
Have you been to a large church recently?
They all have boutique gear ala: Matchless, Badcat, Dr. Z, Suhr, Tom Anderson.
I'm not really a fan of either amp.
XTC - sounded to me like it couldn't decide whether is was from 1979 or 2005. Some people may dig that though.

I remember EVH saying this a while ago. Now we all know that EVH had said some stupid stuff, but what do you guys think about this?
Let me say 2 things though...
-Obviously the fret board needs lemon oil. I'm mainly talking about the back of the neck here.
-Before you start lecturing about "grease and grime" let's remember that you're supposed to play your guitar with clean hands. If you play your axe after eating a tray of hot wings, then obviously you are gonna have to clean it. duh.
